Job Description

The internship will allow individuals to be trained on the basics of a retail outlet, enabling them to operate on both the sales floor and the service desk functions, giving them insight into leadership roles in this environment. Working with customers and stock will be a key focus area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and form knowledge critical to the retail environment
  • Assist customers with finding merchandise
  • Merchandising the store according to the company principals
  • How to process payments and purchases
  • Opening new accounts
  • Maintaining or controlling stock losses
  • Building relationships with customers
  • Maintaining customer security and safety
  • Opportunity to progress to a junior leadership role by driving your own learning & application thereof

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Retail Business Management, Operations, Management or any other related fields
  • Passion for fashion and retail
